The Miracle Continues...

Happy New Year for Baby Lilly. The doctor came in and spoke with family today and said thanks to Jami spending several days upside down (without food !!) Lilly was given the medicine and time she needed for this early birth. Lilly has celebrated her 1 week birthday and the doctors feel she has may be safe from the complications that occur right after birth. She still has a journey in front of her but doctors feel she has made it over a great hurdle! Wonderful day!

Little Lilly is an angel sent from Heaven and I know the angels are watching over her. What a beauty she already is.

God bless the entire family.

Lilly,

Your Grandmother Fern has told me about how hard you have been fighting all the problems that have come your way during your first week of life. I have an aunt with the same name as you, Lillian Rose, and despite some adversities in her life, she soon will celebrate her 99th birthday. You are showing the same strength that has enabled her to have a wonderful long life. I hope you will continue to grow stronger each day. You and your family will remain in my prayers.

Love, Pam Katz

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our mother in law is a NICU nurse in Plano and said you are in the #1 NICU hospital. So baby Lilly is in good hands. Keep up the breastfeeding. It is miracle juice itself. I am assuming you are pumping. If you need any extra support to help with your supply, let me know. I have some yummy lactation cookie recipes. There is also a good website for mom's that I use for extra support. They have boards for breastfeeding mom's in the NICU. www.kellymom.com

We will continue to pray for you, Lilly, and your family.
